Goodrich tire manufacturing company.  Out of this building tires were manufactured for various industries and shipped all around the world.  In the 70s the building was mothballed as manufacturing was moved over-seas.  In 1995, Paul Tell, Jr. birthed the vision to transform Building 41 into an innovative office building.  In 1997, upon completion of the major renovation of the building, Advanced Elastomer Systems (AES) (an affiliate of Exxon Mobil) moved into the building and began their 20 year tenure serving the world through polymer research and manufacturing.  Today the building serves up to 1,200 employees representing various world-class businesses.  <B><I>The AES Building - Where Akron's Leading Companies Thrive.</I></B></SPAN></DIV></BODY></HTML></div>
