The Beta Lasermike Outer Diameter Measurement system is used to accurately measure the outer diameter of the tubing / pipe being extruded. It uses two laser beams to continuously measure the tubing / pipe and displays the information on a visual display. This allows the extrusion operator that the tubing / pipe is always maintained within specification by making adjustments to the process as required
The cooling bath is required to form the shape of the product being extruded. The molten material exiting the extruder /die in a particular shape must be cooled quickly to retain the desired shape. The heat is taken out of the molten material via the water in the cooling tank which is constantly recirculated. Different styles and lengths of cooling tanks are available depending on the size of the product being extruded and the speed that it is being produced at.

This haul-off unit works in a syncronised way with the extruded tubing being produced, which is exiting our water cooling bath. It catches the plastic tubing without damaging it and pulls it to a cutter or to a coiling unit.
We use our Formech 300XQ to effectively demonstrate the thermoforming process where a vacuum is applied sucking the heated plastic sheet onto the mould. Quiet and built-in vacuum system, energy-efficient quartz heaters and the safety interlock of the 300XQ thermoformer help us achieve consistent thermoformed parts. eu.formech.com/
